Original vintage advertising poster for the Empire Exhibition Johannesburg South Africa September 15, 1936 - January 15, 1937. Great design featuring the South African Coat of Arms (with a lion at the top, an oryx and springbok antelope on the sides and wilderbeests, Hope, an orange tree and a wagon on the shield with the motto: Ex Unitate Vires / Union is Strength) above the information text with details on travel and tourist facilities from South Africa House Trafalgar Square London and exhibition details from 21 Tothill Street SW1, in black and red letters. Very good condition, slight foxing on margins.
