Original vintage poster for the Royal Academy 1961 Summer Exhibition - An exhibition of contemporary works of art has been held by the Royal Academy each summer since its foundation by George III in 1768 - The one hundred and ninety third exhibition is open from April 29th to August 13th, 1961. Great design featuring a scene of Sir Joshua Reynolds and the Prince of Wales at the exhibition of 1787 with crowds of people around them and several paintings on display on the wall behind them, the title text across the image in white letters with information below. Designed by Ramos + Kelpra Studio. Very good condition, minor scratches and tears in right margin.
