Collection of Travel Posters, Magazines, Booklets & Luggage Labels published by Intourist 

  AntikBar is delighted to present a unique collection of printed material aimed at promoting foreign tourism to the USSR. This important historical archive covers a variety of styles and destinations spanning over 60 years of Soviet history from 1929-1980s.

The exceptional quality and range of material includes 190 posters, 47 magazines, 211 brochures and 73 luggage labels that provide an extraordinary perspective of how Soviet artists interpreted prevalent trends in Western commercial design. Carefully compiled and curated over a period of 30 years, this substantial one-of-a-kind acquisition would be a valuable addition to any institution or private collection.   Some of the items from this collection were displayed in the Around The World With An Easel exhibition held by the Russian Museum in Moscow and St Petersburg in 2009, and formed the core of the Visit The USSR exhibition at Vinzavod Moscow in 2010 and the See USSR exhibition at GRAD London in 2012.
