Original vintage railway poster - The 20th Century Limited on the Historic Water Level Route - featuring great artwork by Leslie Ragan (1897-1972) depicting a modern Art Deco style Hudson streamlined 20th Century Limited train shining its headlight over a winter scene at night with snow topped trees and the light reflecting on an icy river in the foreground, the steam from the locomotive rising into the starry sky with buildings and mountains in the background. The 20th Century Limited (1902-1967) express service ran the New York to Chicago route on the New York Central Railroad primarily aimed at business and upper class passengers. Good condition, tears, staining, pinholes, small paper loss.
