The German aviation pioneer Franz Zeno Diemer (1889-1954) was an engineer and a flight officer in the Bavarian Lifeguard Regiment who set numerous flying records as an early BMW test pilot including the world altitude record of 6,750m (22,146ft) in 1919. Large size. Good condition, restored folds, restored tears, restored creasing, staining, backed on linen.
