Original vintage advertising poster for the XIV Internationale Film Festspiele Berlin International Film Festival held from 26 June to 7 July 1964 featuring a dynamic and colourful illustration depicting the flag of Berlin with the city's black bear emblem on a white background between the two red stripes shining out of a golden globe of the earth from Berlin on one side with a movie film strip showing the flags of the participating countries including Germany, USA, Italy, UK, France, India, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, Brazil, Austria and Mexico shining out from the other side, the yellow and blue text running diagonally above and below against the dark background. The highest prize award of the festival in 1964 - the Golden Bear - was awarded to Susuz Yaz / Dry Summer a film directed by Turkish film director and historian Metin Erksan. Printed by Doftal Atelier Eggert. Good condition, creasing, folds, staining, small tears.
