Colourful artwork by David William Burley (1901-1991) in shades of orange, black and white depicting a a bear named Jill with the title above and down the side in stylised lettering and the rest of the information below. Chessington Zoo is located in the southwest Surrey area of Greater London; it started as a zoo to house the private collection of animals owned by Reginald Stuart Goddard on the Burnt Stub Mansion estate, opening to the public in 1931; it introduced rides and became the Chessington World of Adventures theme park in 1987 under the management of The Tussauds Group, taken over by Merlin Entertainments in 2007. Good condition, restored tears, pencil mark on top right corner, backed on linen.
