Original vintage Soviet poster for a circus performance featuring a man in a traditional tunic outfit lifting a large round black weight with the title on top - Cyrk / Цирк Силовые Аттракцион / Circus Strongman Attraction - and the name of the iron man weightlifter below - Н. Жеребцов / Nikolai Zherebtsov (1904-1979). Awarded Honorary Artist of Tatar, Zherebtsov worked in the Kazan circus as a heavy weightlifter then performed as a Russian strongman. Good condition, restored minor tears, crease and small paper loss, backed on linen.
