Original vintage travel advertising poster for British Airways Concorde featuring a colourful image of an iconic Concorde plane flying against the deep blue sky with the stylised bold lettering and crown logo inside the C above. Produced from 1965-1979, Concorde was a British-French turbojet powered supersonic passenger airliner that operated transatlantic flights by Air France and British Airways (BA) from 1976-2003 capable of flying at a maximum speed over twice the speed of sound (taking less than 3.5 hours to fly the London to New York route but costing over 30 times more than a regular plane ticket) that earned it the BA advertising slogan Arrive Before You Leave; British Airways retired its Concorde fleet in 2003, having made nearly 50,000 flights and flying over 2.5m passengers. Printed in England by IAL. Good condition, restored creasing, backed on linen.
