Original vintage General Dynamics poster by the illustrator, typographer and graphic designer Erik Nitsche (1908-1998) promoting Electrodynamics. Great illustration featuring the atom symbol inside a light bulb in front of a globe map of the world against a grey background with stylised lettering above and below in Sanskrit and English; this poster is one of six designs used by General Dynamics for the first international Atomic Energy Conference in Geneva held by the United Nations UN - Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy - in 1955. Large size. Very good condition, pinholes, creasing on edges, small tears.
