Land Rover Series III Clay Quarry

Original vintage Land Rover car advertising poster featuring a colour photograph of a man opening the door of a blue Land Rover series III with the registration MOG 651 R parked in a quarry with work in the background below the heading in bold white letters next to the Leyland logo in white. The Land Rover series III off-road vehicles were produced by British Leyland Land-Rover from 1971-1985; the Land Rover was the first mass-produced four-wheel civilian car that was designed in 1947 by the British engineer Maurice Wilks of the Rover Company (1948-1967), which was taken over by British Leyland in 1968, becoming Land Rover Ltd in 1978 until 2012 when it merged with Jaguar Cars to form Jaguar Land Rover (since 2013). Printed in England by the Nuffield Press Limited. Horizontal. Very good condition, restored bumps and defects in margins, backed on linen.
