The off-road Land Rover series I, II, and III vehicles (known as Land Rovers) were produced from 1948-1985 by the British car manufacturer Rover Company (1948-1967) and British Leyland (1968-1983); the series 3 model was produced from 1971-1985. The Land Rover vehicle was the first mass-produced civilian four-wheel drive car with doors on it, initially designed by the British engineer Maurice Wilks in 1947 and built as a post-war jeep for agricultural use. Land Rover is now owned by Jaguar Land Rover (since 2013); JLR being owned by the Indian Tata Motors company since 2008. Printed in England by the Nuffield Press Limited. Very good condition, restored minor defects and bumps in margins, backed on linen.
