Original vintage colourful London Transport travel advertising poster by the notable British graphic artist, printmaker and art teacher Clifford Ellis (1907-1985) and his wife Rosemary Ellis (1910-1998) with a Christmas cracker at the top including a small dog brooch and pack of cards with a paper: "Q. Why is a railway time-table like life? A. Because it is full of ups and downs" above a London Underground tube map and London's main shopping streets on top of pages of a shop catalogue marked with people's names against a blue shaded background adorned with white stars and the London Underground roundel logo below. Very good condition, light staining on margins, backed on linen.
