Original vintage car advertising poster for Matford V8 Une Nouvelle Vedette sur la Scene du Monde / A New Star on the World Stage featuring a fantastic design showcasing a shiny new blue Matford V8 classic car on display on top of the earth behind a red theatre curtain with two spotlights shining down on the car creating a V with two circles forming an 8 in the centre, the stylised text for Matford against the globe and slogan below with V8 formed in the word Vedette / Star. The Matford car and truck manufacturer was a joint venture between Ford and Mathis in France from 1934-1940. Printed in Paris. Large size. Good condition, restored pinholes, restored tears, small restored paper loss in corner, backed on linen.
