Pall Mall Magazine Knight


Original antique advertising poster for the June 1899 issue of Pall Mall Magazine priced at one shilling with the address 18 Charing Cross Road London featuring a dynamic design by the artist and illustrator George Denholm Armour (1864-1949) of a knight holding a lance and a red and white shield, riding a white horse rearing by a fence with the stylised bold red lettering on the blank information box on the side. Founded by William Waldorf Astor, Pall Mall Magazine was an illustrated monthly British literary magazine published from 1893-1914. Good condition, restored folds, losses and tears, backed on paper.
