Picasso Exhibition Museums of the USSR


Original vintage poster for an art exhibition Picasso Dans les Musees Sovietiques / Picasso in Soviet Museums held at the Musee National d'Art Moderne / French National Museum of Modern Art in Paris in October 1971 featuring an image of a Picasso painting entitled Young Acrobat on a Ball (1905) showing a boy balancing on a large ball with a man watching in the foreground and people in the background with a horse and a dog on hills, set within a border with the information text above and below. The notable Spanish artist and sculptor Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) was one of the founders of Cubism in the early 20th century. The featured painting created by Picasso during his Rose Period (1904-1906) has been housed at the Pushkin Museum in Moscow Russia since 1948. Good condition, light creasing, staining at top of poster.
