Original antique alcohol drink advertising poster for Piper-Heidsieck Champagne featuring a great design of a lady holding a large glass of champagne against a yellow background with the bold lettering above and below the framed margin lines. Piper Heidsieck was founded in Reims France by the wine maker Florens-Louis Heidsieck (1749-1828) in 1785 as Heidsieck & Co, becoming Piper-Heidsieck in 1839 after the widow of Florens-Louis Heidsieck's nephew Christian Heidsieck married Henri Piper. Large size. Very good condition, restored creasing, backed on linen.
