Original vintage advertising poster published by Shell to celebrate 9½ miles up world's height record established by the Royal Air Force RAF using both fuel and oil supplied by Shell. Dynamic image of the silhouette of a plane flying high in the blue sky with the text describing the record printed into the swirling vapour behind the plane and the rest of the text below in red and blue letters. Large size. Horizontal. Very good condition, faint marks in the centre of the image and minor tear in bottom margin, backed on linen.
