[ON RESERVE] Original vintage Russian avant-garde cinema poster for a Central Asian film Chadra / The Veil (Burkha) directed by Mikhail Averbakh and produced by UzbekGosKino. Great constructivist design by Yosef Gerassimovitch (Joseph Vasilevich Gerasimovich; b. 1894) featuring a lady in a traditional Uzbek hat with a silhouette of a man above, and lines leading to shadows of a camel and a donkey in the background, the title text diagonally below in white letters. Print run 10,000. Good condition, restored folds, minor loss and tears on margins, backed on linen.
