Original vintage movie poster for the classic American political drama film Advise & Consent based on the novel by Allen Drury, directed by Otto Preminger and starring Henry Fonda, Charles Laughton, Don Murray, Walter Pidgeon, Peter Lawford, Gene Tierney, Franchot Tone and Lew Ayres. Great design in black and white against a red background by the notable American graphic designer and filmmaker Saul Bass (1920-1996) showing a hand carrying a briefcase featuring the names of the actors on it with a luggage label hanging down featuring the United States Capitol in Washington opening up to reveal the title in red letters. Litho in U.S.A. Very good condition, folded as issued, faint creases on margins.
