Original vintage Soviet movie poster for the 1930 documentary Energy Link / Звено Энергетики celebrating the grandiose scope of energy construction in the USSR directed by Yakov Poselskiy and produced by the Soyuzkino film studio (the USSR State Committee for Cinematography 1930-1933). Constructivist design features a dynamic illustration of a worker in uniform pulling on a lever surrounded by a hydro electric station with metal construction cranes and machinery and workers looking at an information board scoring the accomplishments and shortcomings with a call to finish the project in time for the 13th anniversary of October / the October Revolution with high voltage lines on the red, yellow and white background. Fair condition, restored folds, restored paper losses, restored tears, backed on linen.
