Original vintage cinema poster in Italian for the re-release of the classic Walt Disney family animated film The Jungle Book (Il Librio della Giungle), based on the 1894 novel by Rudyard Kipling. Colourful image showing Mowgli eating a banana on Baloo the bear floating down the jungle river with Bagheera the panther walking along a tree branch across the water looking down at them, the tiger Shere Khan watching with his front paws crossed, Kaa the snake twisted around the tree above, King Louie the orangutan monkey hanging on vines behind them with Colonel Hathi and his son the young elephant standing on the other side of the river, the title text above in stylised white, yellow and black letters, the rest of the text below with a smaller image for Mickey’s Christmas Carol / Canto di Natale di Topolino - the first new Mickey Mouse cartoon in 30 years - featuring Mickey, Donald Duck and the other characters in the snow around a Christmas tree. Printed in Italy by Rotolitoservice, Roma. Large size. Very good condition, faint staining and minor tears on right margin, backed on linen.
