Original vintage British Army recruitment poster - Train to be a Musician in the Regular Army advanced instruction at Kneller Hall (The Royal Military School of Music located in Twickenham London; founded in 1857). Great illustration showing the marching band of the Grenadier Guards wearing their iconic red coats and bearskin hats marching and playing music in formation towards the viewer with the text below. The Grenadier Guards GREN GDS infantry regiment of the British Army dates back to 1656 when it was formed to help protect the exiled Charles II; the regiment has taken part in numerous conflicts and was granted its Grenadier designation by Royal Proclamation following the Napoleonic Wars; it expanded its battalions during World War One and again during World War Two; the regiment was reduced to one battalion by the mid-1990s and continues to take part in active deployments as well as performing ceremonial and protective roles. Excellent condition, minor creasing.
