Red Army Day 23 February Defender of the Fatherland Day

Original vintage Soviet propaganda poster celebrating Red Army Day on 23rd February (originally created during the Russian Civil War following the first mass army draft in 1918 with the name changing to Day of the Soviet Army and Navy in 1923; Soviet Army and Navy Day in 1949; and Defender of the Fatherland Day in 2002). Colourful design showing a saluting young Soviet soldier in uniform in the foreground with the military flags waving in the background with tanks, warships and fighter planes diagonally on the side with the text in white above: День Советской Армии и Военно-Морского флота.
