Original vintage ski poster celebrating the Triple Crown of Alpine Skiing champion Jean Claude Killy (b.1943) issued by the Chevrolet Sports Department featuring a colourful design depicting Killy skiing at speed with his name in stylised lettering on a red, white and blue background representing the colours of the French flag above the Chevrolet logo below. Jean-Claude Killy won Olympic gold medals in the downhill skiing, giant slalom and slalom events at the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble France. Following this achievement, Killy signed up with various sports and other companies, providing celebrity endorsement for their advertising campaigns and as a marketing spokesman on marketing tours, including for Chevrolet automobiles. Excellent condition, backed on linen.
