Original vintage winter sport travel poster for Mannlichen Wengen in Switzerland featuring a colourful photograph of people standing in the deep snow and sitting next to their skis leaning against a wooden chalet below a red cable car ski lift travelling up from the town in the valley with trees and mountains in the background, the bold stylised lettering against the blue sky above. Opened in 1954, the Wengen-Mannlichen aerial cableway is located in a popular skiing and hiking region of the Swiss Alps linking the resort of Wengen with the 2,343m Mannlichen mountain (originally built with two gondola cabins that could carry up to 40 people each). Good condition, restored paper loss on top right corner, backed on linen.
