Original vintage Soviet movie poster for the 1958 Polish war film Пепел и алмаз / Ashes and Diamonds / Popiół i diament directed by Andrzej Wajda (1926-2016), based on the 1948 novel by the Polish writer Jerzy Andrzejewski (1909-1983) and starring Zbigniew Cybulski and Ewa Krzyzewska, Waclaw Zastrzezynski.
