Original vintage Soviet film poster for the classic New Year romantic comedy that remains one of the most popular movies in Russia - The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath! Ирония судьбы, или С лёгким паром! (Ironiya sudby, ili S lyogkim parom!) - directed by Eldar Ryazanov based on the his 1971 play Once on New Year's Eve Однажды в новогоднюю ночь, written by Emil Braginsky and Ryazanov, and starring Yuriy Yakovlev and Barbara Brylska. Great image of a young lady and a young man sitting back to back, the lady holding a red flower in her hand and the man holding a bag with identical modern buildings in Moscow and Leningrad (now St Petersburg) shown above them inside a cloud with a large key hanging on each side joined by the stylised title text around the cloud, the credits and rest of the text below. Very good condition, light browning, creasing, folds, small tears on edges.
