Original vintage Soviet film poster for the USSR release of the Academy Award winning 1958 American drama The Defiant Ones under the title Bound With One Chain directed by Stanley Kramer and adapted by Harold Jacob Smith from the story by Nedrick Young (originally credited as Nathan E. Douglas) about two escaped prisoners - one white man and one black man - who are shackled together and must co-operate in order to survive ("They couldn't like each other less. They couldn't need each other more."), starring Tony Curtis and Sidney Poitier. Dynamic illustration showing the two main characters chained together with the stylised title text in black and red below. Very good condition, pin holes, light creasing, light staining.
