Original vintage film poster for the Russian release of the 1947 British movie based on the classic 1839 novel by Charles Dickens (1812-1870), Nicholas Nickleby - about a young man trying to save his sister and mother from being exploited by the uncle after the death of his father - directed by Alberto Cavalcanti, screenplay by John Dighton and starring Derek Bond, Cedric Hardwicke, Mary Merrall. Great illustration depicting a smartly dressed gentleman holding his hat in a gloved hand while standing and looking behind to a horse drawn carriage in front of historic buildings in the background, the stylised title text in a sign above and the credits below. Good condition, pin holes, stains and small tears in margin.
