Gleneagles for Golf Caledonian Railway Female Golfer


Early original vintage poster featuring a lady golfer wearing a red jumper and grey skirt hitting a golf ball out of a bunker: Gleneagles for Golf - The Golf Course the Great in Scotland - The Caledonian Railway. The Ryder Cup was first held at Gleneagles in 1921. The Golfing Girl image was used in promotional materials. The Caledonian Railway was a major Scottish railway company from the 1830s until 1923 when it became part of the London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS). Very good condition, pinholes.
