Original vintage motor car sport poster advertising the II Gran Premio Penya Rhin Grand Prix auto racing event on the Circuito Villafranca del Panades circuit on 29 October 1922 organised by the Carrera Internacional de Voiturettes featuring a dynamic illustration of two men driving a classic car marked number 23 at speed along the road behind a white car against the blue sky background. The Penya Rhin Grand Prix motor racing event was staged at three different circuits in Spain (Vilafranca del Penedes 1921-1923, Montjuic 1933-1936, Pedralbes 1946, 1948, 1950, 1954). The 1922 II Gran Premio do Penya Rhin was won by the Irish born driver Kenelm Lee Guinness (in a Talbot-Darracq 56 car). Villafranca in Catalonia Spain held auto racing events on public roads from 1908-1920, followed by a 9 mile circuit around the town from 1921-1923 when it was replaced by the purpose built Autodrom de Sitges Terramar circuit. Founded in 1916, the Royal Moto Club of Catalonia organised the Armangue Trophy from 1921-1923. Printed by I.G. Seix & Barral S.A. Barcelona. Horizontal.
