Original vintage Soviet sports poster for the Volleyball event at the Moscow '86 Goodwill Games organised by the USSR Volleyball Federation held from 7-19 July 1986 at the Central Lenin Stadium featuring a red star over the event text in black lettering around a globe in white and blue with olive branches for peace below, a pictogram in blue and orange of volleyball players leaning forward with a ball above the Volleyball event title, the rest of the information on the sides at the top including the dates for the women's and men's matches. The 1986 Goodwill Games international multi-sport event was held in Moscow Russia created by the American television producer and founder of the CNN Cable News Network Ted Turner (Robert Edward Turner III (b. 1938) in response to the Cold War era boycotting of the 1980 Moscow and 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games by the USA and the USSR respectively. Good condition, creasing, staining, tears, paper losses on edges.
