Original vintage travel advertising poster: B.O.A.C Qantas Australia New Zealand / British Overseas Airways Corporation – Qantas Empire Airways Limited – Tasman Empire Airways Limited. Colourful and fun design by Laban featuring a stylised image of a smiling koala in front of a kangaroo pouch with a plane flying overhead and a small illustration of the Sydney Harbour Bridge shown in the distance, against a dark background with coloured stars above and below with the stylised text. (The British Overseas Airways Corporation / BOAC was the British state airline created in 1940-1946 as the result of a merger, introducing the world's first passenger jets to its service in 1952 and merging again in 1971-1974 to create British Airways / BA.) Very good condition, repaired pinholes on corners, minor tears on top and bottom margins.
