Original vintage travel poster advertising British Commonwealth Pacific Airlines flights to England - Via BCPA to England. Design features an illustration of a mounted Royal Guard on a white horse from the Household Cavalry Regiment in an iconic red uniform with crowds looking at a carriage pulled by horses in front of Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster in London with a plane flying across the blue sky with white clouds, the text above and below in black, yellow, and grey letters. British Commonwealth Pacific Airlines was formed in 1946 by the governments of Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom to operate trans-Pacific flights; in 1954 it was taken over by Qantas the flag carrier of Australia. Very good condition, minor creasing, backed on linen.
