Original vintage travel advertising poster - Discover Australia - issued by the Australian National Travel Association to promote tourism to the country. Fantastic image by Eileen Mayo (1906-1994) featuring traditional artwork and symbols from the Dreamtime stories of an emu and an Indigenous Aboriginal Australian wearing a head-dress with emu footprints along the top border, the text Particulars at Government, Shipping and Travel Offices with a kangaroo logo on the bottom border. Very good condition, restored tears, backed on linen.
