Great artwork by Jack Merriott (1901-1968) of the historic Elgin Cathedral ruins viewed from the other side of the River Lossie with a tree next to the old stone bridge and the sky visible through the old vaulted archway windows and rose window opening. Published by British Railways Scottish Region. Printed by Stafford & Co Ltd Netherfield Nottingham. Very good condition, minor staining, backed on linen.
