Established in 1951, Japan Air Lines (Nihon Koku Kabushiki-gaisha / Nikko) is the national airline of Japan; in 1958 JAL began operating international routes from Tokyo to San Francisco via Honolulu on Douglas DC-7C planes; in 1959, the airline operated non-stop services between Seattle and Tokyo. The Douglas DC-7 transport aircraft was built by the Douglas Aircraft Company (1921-1967) from 1953-1958. Horizontal. Very good condition, pinholes at corners and minor creasing.
