Original vintage World War Two London Transport poster - Help Us Save Paper Stop! Stop!! I forgot to put my ticket in your litterbox! by special permission of the Proprietors of Punch. Great design by the notable British cartoonist and illustrator Fougasse (Cyril Kenneth Bird; 1887-1965) featuring a man in a suit holding a briefcase, running after an iconic red double decker bus holding out his ticket to recycle it in the used tickets bin on the back of the bus, the bus conductor standing at the back and looking at him in surprise, the image set within a red border with the quote in stylised lettering above the bold title text and London Transport logo on the side. Printed by Waterlow and Sons. Horizontal. Fair condition, folds, creasing, tears, staining, punched holes.
