Original vintage travel poster for Villard de Lans Children's Paradise / Le Paradis Des Enfants featuring a stunning Art Deco design by the notable French artist Roger Broders (1883-1953) depicting a group of children in colourful outfits stretching up their arms in front of skiers skiing between tree-lined rivers and rocks below the blue sky on the scenic background with snow-topped mountains on the horizon, the sun casting shadows of the children doing their exercise with the bold white lettering on the black border below. Located in the Auvergne-Rhones-Alpes region in southeast France Villard-De-Lans is popular for downhill and cross-country skiing and other alpine winter sports including bobsled racing as well as hiking in the Vercors Massif forest and natural park area; the town hosted the luge events of the Grenoble Winter Olympics in 1968. Printed in Paris by Lucien Serre. Excellent condition, backed on linen.
