Original vintage World War Two poster - Army Education Scheme Will Prepare You For Your Return to Civil Life - featuring a great design by Abram Games (Abraham Gamse; 1914-1996) depicting a question mark wearing a bowler hat with the text: What can you do in Civvy St? against a blue shaded background with the silhouette of a soldier below considering his future and looking at boards on easels with various education and work options: Engineering General Science / Home Health Arts and Crafts / Commerce Man and Society. Civvy Street refers to the return to civilian life for ex-military and service people. Printed for HM Stationery Office by Field Sons and Co Ltd Bradford. Good condition, restored tears, small restored paper loss in bottom left corner, restored creasing, restored staining, ink stamp in bottom right corner, backed on linen.
