Leningrad Reconstruction Nazi Siege WWII

[RESERVED] Original vintage Soviet propaganda poster encouraging the people of Leningrad (now St Petersburg) to help rebuild the city and restore the damage caused during World War Two - Young Leningraders! Let's give all our strength to restore our hometown! / Молодые Ленинградцы! Отдадим все силы на восстановление родного города! - featuring an illustration of a lady in a blue dress and working boots standing on the wall of a destroyed building in ruins holding a tool in one hand and pointing over with her other hand, more people carrying wood and working in front of the historic spire of the Peter and Paul Fortress in the background. The Siege of Leningrad was a military blockade by Nazi Germany that lasted from 1941-1944, causing destruction to the city and a huge loss of civilian life (more than the combined casualties of America and Britain during the entire war). Good condition, folds, tears, staining, paper losses on corners.
