Original vintage World War Two safety poster - A postmark betrayed this HQ... Use the Army Post Office - featuring a modernist design by the notable British graphic designer Abram Games (Abraham Gamse; 1914-1996) depicting bombs being dropped over an English countryside town in grey with a red warning background behind the postal stamp mark - Tanbridge 2pm 21 Jan 1942 B - and the rest of the text below with a military post stamp in the corner - Field Post Office 21 Jan 42. Printed for H.M. Stationery Office by Stafford and Co Ltd., Netherfield, Nottingham. Good condition, creasing, folds, pinholes, small tears on edges.
