Original vintage Soviet war propaganda movie poster Сын Полка (Syn polka) - Son of the Regiment directed by Vasili Pronin and based on the novel by Valentin Kataev about an orphaned Russian boy Vanya Solntsev who is adopted by the artillery regiment (a later cinema drama based on the same novel was filmed in 1981). Dramatic image of a young soldier boy wearing a uniform with a red star on his helmet crouched down at a battle front with a strong wind blowing a tree in front of cannon guns behind him, the text above in red and grey stylised letters. Horizontal. Good condition, small tears and paper loss on margins, folds, staining.
